Philippine Idol Contestant Requirements

1. A contestant must be –
a. At least 16 but not more than 28 years old on July 1, 2006.b. A Filipino citizen or of dual citizenship (i.e., possessing both Filipino citizenship as well as foreign citizenship).
2. A contestant must bring the following on the day of the audition –
a. Completed PHILIPPINE IDOL Application Form;b. Two (2) photos: One (1) close-up (at least passport size), and one (1) full body (at least 3R size);c. Original and two (2) certified true copies of birth certificate;d. In case of contestants of dual citizenship, original and two (2) certified true copies of his Philippine passport; ande. One (1) picture I.D. (passport, driver’s license, SSS/GSIS I.D., school I.D., company I.D. and/or professional I.D.).
3. A contestant must be prepared to sing two (2) songs – one fast, one slow.
4. If you are not yet of legal age (i.e. under 18 years old), you must have your Application Form signed on your behalf by either your parent or legal guardian.
